How can I open a bank account in England?
There are several banks at the beginning of Commercial Road precinct. Opening hours: 9.30am to 4.30pm for the main branches. Some open on Saturday mornings. Many of the branches close at 3.30pm – so be careful!
You will need a letter from LSI/IH Portsmouth to show at the bank that can be issued from Reception. Please complete this form and email it to reception@lsi-portsmouth.co.uk
You can also change traveller’s cheques and foreign currency at Thomas Cook (the travel agents) in the Cascades Shopping Centre in Commercial Road.
