What are our Executive Combination Plus Courses?

 

This course is the same as the Executive Combination course but with 5 extra 1:1 hours. Total of 17.5 hours 1:1 lessons + 12.5 hours small group lessons.

This option combines 1:1 lessons with small group (maximum 4 participants) and offers the advantages of both individual and group tuition: the 1:1 mornings concentrate on the individual’s specific language difficulties and specialist vocational vocabulary; the afternoons focus on communication and intercultural exchange with participants of different nationalities and commercial backgrounds in the context of professional situations – presentations, meetings, negotiating, leading an international team and intercultural awareness in working environments.

Executive Communication Skills on our Plus Courses

Individual

After completing a comprehensive needs analysis of the participant’s goals and requirements, we then place a special emphasis on the most relevant professional vocabulary, register, grammar structures, and pronunciation that are required for the participants work.

In addition to formal classroom teaching to learn English, study activities include roleplays, examining case studies, performing and examining simulations, video and audio recorded simulations.

In our business English courses, the primary focus is typically on practical & effective business English for professionals in communication and may include language and skills for:

What is the Executive Plus course duration/programme?

 

The average course duration is 2 weeks, however the course can be anything from 1 to 4+ weeks.

The programme is highly intensive and includes 30 contact hours plus 5 to 10 self-access study hours plus 7.5 hours social English over optional teacher accompanied lunch per week plus optional evening social activities (such as restaurants, guided tours, live music, cultural events).

We would recommend that most students do a combination course: 1:1 in the morning, giving the students the opportunity to not only study English but work on individual and specialised needs necessary for executives and professionals; mini group of maximum 4 people the afternoon, focus is on professional communication in an international context with students of other nationalities and cultures.
