General English plus Business
Learn English with our General plus Business English Courses
This course gives you the opportunity to learn English for day-to-day communication as well as specific English skills you might need in your work place.
The programme is divided into two parts: students spend half of their day (12.5 hours of lessons per week) in a General English group of maximum 12 students and the other half day (12.5 hours of lessons per week) in a small Business English group, which consists of a maximum of four professional people from different companies.

The main focus of the morning General English class is on grammar, with skills such as speaking and listening also covered. Throughout these classes, you will also have the opportunity to widen your vocabulary and improve your pronunciation.
In the afternoon classes, you will be in a minigroup of maximum 4 people from different countries and different professional backgrounds in a simulation of a real, multinational context. You’ll practise skills for negotiating, discussing current business issues, socialising, giving presentations, participating in meetings and teleconferencing.

10.15 – 10.30: Morning Coffee Break
10.30 – 11.45: Grammar/Vocabulary Skills/Pronunciation
11.45 – 13.15: Lunch/Optional supervised self-access
13.15 – 14.30: Lesson 3 with Afternoon Tutor (mini-group – max 4 participants)
14.30 – 14.45: Afternoon coffee break
14.45 – 16.00: Lesson 4 with Afternoon Tutor (mini-group – max 4 participants)
16.00 – 17.30: Optional Self-Access Study After School: Evening Social Activity Programme (optional)
