Government restrictions are slowly easing and the UK will be opening up by that time. This means you will be able to visit restaurants, museums, play sport – enjoy the social and cultural side of life in Portsmouth that is so important to your study abroad experience!
All our courses are still available online. If you have to quarantine on arrival in the UK, you can study online in your host family – and benefit from 50% off tuition fees in our fully refundable quarantine package.
We understand that it is important to give you flexibility and peace of mind when you book an English language course. We have therefore changed our terms so you can book with confidence.
LSI/IH Portsmouth was established in 1985 and is the no. 1 English language centre in the UK*, having achieved 100% in our last British Council inspection. LSI/IH Portsmouth offers both face-to-face English language classes in Portsmouth and online English classes to suit all abilities and many different academic and professional needs. We are an adults-only Centre, accepting students 18 years old and over. We run courses in General English, IELTS, Cambridge and OET Exam Preparation, Professional and Business English and University Pre-Sessional Courses. We are a centre for IELTS tests, OET tests and Cambridge exams. We are a CELTA course training centre.
We are located in Portsmouth, a lively and historic university city on the beautiful south coast of England.
